The 18th Annual Lowcountry Shine & Swapp 10-2 will be held at the flea market in Ladson Coastal Carolina. Nothing on wheels is welcome to participate including cars, trucks, motorcycles, bicycles, tractors, pedal cars and wagons. Ten trophies will be awarded to the winning vehicles. Motorists are asked to clean out their garage and memories of cars and parts to exhibit or sell at the swap meet area. There will also be a bake sale and raffle. The show is free. A Camaro Meet and Greet will be held from Charleston Air Force Base in North Charleston NC. All are welcome. The event will include pictures, cruise and lunch. The group plans to take a cruise and stop at the center of Patriots Point and California Dreaming. The names of participants must be submitted in advance to arrange access to the database. Bessinger’s Bar-BQ will host an open car, Truck and Motorcycle Show 6-9 pm at the restaurant in 1602 Savannah Highway. Registration is $ 5. Judging from the classes are street rods, trucks, motorcycles and cars for the years 1900-42, 1943-59, 1960-71 and 1972-2010. Three trophies per class will be assigned. The Sixth Annual Dinner and Dance Party, hosted by Low Country Mustang Club will be held 6-9:30 pm at Park Circle in North Charleston Community Center. The theme this year is “American Bandstand”. The cost is $ 10 per person and the event is open to anyone interested in finding another night out. The cost includes a barbecue dinner, music and dance. “Viewers Original” band will perform 6-7:30 pm American Bandstand ‘50, ‘60 or ‘70 dress encouraged but not required.
